About Me

My name is Sonja Krauß. After a 2-year trainee program in banking I decided to go to university. In 2011 I finished my BSc in Geography with Physics as a minor. The most interesting and appealing part of this Bachelor’s program to me was the one about Geoinformatics. So I decided to focus on this field with the choice of my Master’s.

During my studies of Applied Geoinformatics I got the chance to put my gained knowledge into practice in the context of several assignments but also through an internship and summer schools.

This site gives you an overview of the main projects of my MSc program which include the GIS project, an internship as well as international summer schools. Beforehand I would like to give some information on Geoinformatics in general and in detail on the Master’s program offered by the University of Salzburg. My latest work is my master thesis which I also like to present.
